About Nicole
Nicole is originally from Knoxville, TN and has lived in Austin, TX for the past 3 years. She received her training in 2018 from the Kunga Yoga for Service School in Blacksburg, VA and describes her teaching style as dancy. With a BFA in Dance, movement has always been a way to explore and express. In Nicole’s class, you will move, groove, and find new ways to access poses and unlock new depth. Nicole’s favorite things about teaching are seeing students grow their practice both on and off their mats. She is passionate about people learning more about how their body works and beginning to treat it as an ally in their life. When she is not teaching yoga, you can find Nicole riding her bike, going for long walks, snuggling her pup, and eating vegan ice cream. She hopes you will join her on the mat soon.

About Stacie
Stacie grew up in Albuquerque, NM and has lived in Austin for 26 years. She has been teaching yoga since 2007 with over 1000 hrs of Yoga Teacher Training and continued education. With her background in Kinesiology and Sports Medicine, her classes are influenced by her anatomical knowledge using functional movement patterns of different muscle groups and joints, myofascial release, and providing accessibility for all bodies.

She teaches Vinyasa yoga with a strong emphasis on alignment. When taking her classes, you can expect dad jokes! Her classes are lighthearted, creative, and challenging. Stacie is known as the compassionate ass-kicker.

Stacie also teaches HIIT classes which are a total body workout focused on low-impact cardio and resistance training to help improve cardiovascular health, endurance, strength, and building lean muscle mass.

Stacie has a degree in Art Education from The University of Texas Austin and loves to paint and study birds when she is not teaching or managing Yoga Pod. She feels most at home when being outside in nature. When she is not outside, she enjoys cooking, snuggling with her dog, Summer, reading comic books, and listening to science-based podcasts.
