Become a professional yoga teacher or study to deepen your individual practice and understanding of yoga. A 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher training provides a strong foundation for confidently practicing and safely teaching yoga. We will offer you opportunities to make discoveries through self-inquiry and experimentation in connecting to mind, body and spirit. The course provides personal growth opportunities and assists in developing a deeper level of self-awareness. We can focus on you because we limit class size to 8 students.
Bienestar encourages the sacredness of teaching and an understanding of the courage we need to teach. To become a teacher is to have pursued a journey of learning, to have a deep knowledge of your topic and a great desire to share it with and inspire others.
Anyone can enroll in a yoga teacher training. Yoga Alliance 200 hour criteria covers a broad scope including the 8 limbs of yoga, the physical aspects, the breath, meditative practices, energy systems, philosophy, history, teaching methodology, general anatomy and physiology. Teacher training includes daily yoga practice, lectures, discussions, and personal experiential work. Yoga teacher training requires your attention, focus, practice, inquiry and objectivity.
