Thank you for all that you bring to life, and to this growing, conscientious community. Jewel of the Sun, La Joya del Sol, is a newly forming, off-grid, living foods inspired permaculture community in the south Pacific mountains of Costa Rica, 1 hour from pristine surfing beaches. It’s 170 acres of rainforest, beautiful vistas, amazing wildlife, fresh air and clean spring water.

Visitors are welcome to relax, cleanse, immerse in nature to the fullest, or seek a peaceful place to live. Over 800 fruit trees including durian and coconuts are planted, and large gardens created for super nutritious veggies.

Abundant food forests, breathtaking natural waterfalls and pools to bathe and rejuvenate are on the property for all to share. And the healthiest gourmet and simple raw foods every day made under the guidance of Health Chef and founder Eric Rivkin. Internships where you can be mentored or mentor a group of your own in a primal rainforest setting are available.

Come to a tranquil and inspiring place to express your creativity in all mediums - writing, photography, painting, dancing, music, bio-construction, gardening, wild foraging, tropical living, etc.

Projects so far include various permaculture projects, sustainable building with bamboo, gardens, natural landscaping, natural water collection and distribution, green business entrepreneurship, and personal growth relationships.
