I have learned my unique massage techniques from many different places. I began studying anatomy and kinesiology at Purdue University, where I graduated with degrees in Movement and Sports Science, as well as Health and Fitness. Over the years as a professional athlete, I received massage from a wider variety of practitioners with a wide variety of methods. I began offering massage therapy informally at events with my partner, who was also a massage therapist. After entering general massage school and learning online, I moved to Costa Rica. I began working at Hacienda del Sol, a detox retreat center that was started as a massage therapy school. There I received mentorship from Menla Bruneau, the founder of Hacienda del Sol. I have learned to apply the techniques I have learned in my martial arts career to apply pressure in unique and therapeutic ways.
